Rev. Fr. Antony Kariyil CMI, received his Bachelors Degree in Philosophy from JDV Pune, and in Theology from Dharmaram College, Bangalore. Afterwards he completed his post graduation and PhD in Sociology from Pune University. He began his teaching career as a Lecturer with Sacred Heart College, Thevara in 1974, from where he went on to join Christ College, Bangalore in 1978. Subsequently he served as the Principal of Christ College from 1989 to 1997, and as the Principal of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences from 1997 to 2002.Histroy
Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology, located in a wide-spread area of 90 acres of land at Kochi/Cochin in Kerala, is a self-financing technical institution. The institution, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, conducts bachelor's level technical programs in various streams. It has gained the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology came into existence in 2001. The institute is a part of Rajagiri Vidyapeetham, which works with a vision of imparting quality education among the aspirants. It boasts of providing modern facilities in order to facilitate better learning.
About the College
Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET), established in 2001, is a private self-financing technical institution affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.
RSET is an endeavour of the Sacred Heart Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) - the first-ever indigenous religious congregation for men in the Syrian Catholic tradition of Christianity in India. The CMIs draw inspiration from their founding father, the Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, and are renowned as pioneers of education, having established institutions of excellence imparting quality education, across the length and breadth of the state and in various parts of India and abroad.
The campus is located in the Rajagiri Valley, a sprawling 90-acre estate on the banks of the river Chitrapuzha. It is 0.5 km from the Seaport - Airport highway, 3 km from the Kakkanad civil Station, 13 km from Ernakulam North Railway Station, and 27 km from the Nedumbassery International Airport.

RSET shares the campus with Rajagiri School of Management, one of the top Business Schools in India.
