NGF College of Engineering and Technology (NGFCET) is run by The New Greenfield Society. The Society is in the field of education since 1964. Founded by Late Sh. Hari Krishan and Mrs Ved Kumari, the society is running two senior secondary school in the name of New Green Field School in South Delhi. NGFCET aims to create an ideal centre of Excellence keeping in mind the best moral, ethical and cultural values. The NGF College of Engineering and Technology is spread over 26 acres of land at 71KM Stone on NH-2, Palwal. The campus provides pollution free and very creative environment, where students can focus on their studies without any interruption. The Campus has world class class rooms, laboratories, workshops and equipments

Admission Notifications
As per admission policy of Haryana Government 75% of total seats will be filled by the Haryana State Counselling Society (HSCS) through On Line off campus counselling on the basis of intersay merit of AIEEE. The remaining 25% Management Quota Seats (Including 15% NRI seats) will be filled directly by the college. Candidates desiring to seek admission against the above 75% seats through HSCS shall refer to the Admission Brochure issued by HSCS or refer to HSCS website at www.hscs.in

To fill the remaining 25% seats and for seats that remain vacant after counselling shall be filled by the institute on first-come-first served basis. An advertisement shall be released in Daily Newspaper inviting applications for filling up such seats.

However the students are at liberty to Register their names with the institute by depositing a token amount as registration fees on any working day at the institute w.e.f. 1st July till the last date of counselling.

Qualification
First Year Admission
In order to take admission the students should be pass in 10+2 examination from recognised Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects

Lateral Entry(Direct Entry in Second Year)
Passes Diploma course in Engg/Tech of 3 year duration or more from State Board of Techanical Education, Haryana or its equivalent Diploma Examination
OR
Passed in B.Sc of 3 Years from any recognised University with Maths or Physics as compulsory subjects.

Admission Brochure
The admission Brochure for the session 2010-11 is available from the college on Cash Payment of Rs. 500 by hand or by post on payment of Rs. 600/- by means of demand draft drawn in favour of NGF College of Enineering and Technology,payable at Palwal or New Delhi.

Conduct Guidelines
LIBRARY
We expect all who use the library, to observe the rights of other readers and to treat library facilities and resources with due respect and care. In order to maintain an environment conducive to effective and comfortable study, person who dont adhere to the guidelines will be asked to leave. Library photo identification card, which is the property of Library, will be confiscated without refund of any fee for violation of guidelines.

The Training and Placement is highly supported by the teaching faculty of various departments. The training and placement department is in constant touch with various companies for imparting industrial training and campus placements. The placement policies and other related activities are handled by Ms. Dipti sachdev.
Placements coordinators are counselling the students on one to one basis about their career aspirations and related queries. The placement head handles all aspects of campus placements for B.tech and MBA students.

Hostel
Boys and Girls are provided with separate hostels with all facilities. Great care has been taken to make the hostel a home away from the home. Importance is given for maintaining a strict social discipline and security of the students. The resident wardens of each hostel take care to see that all the needs of the students are met and to create a homely atmosphere and a sense of security.

Library
The Institute has modern computerized Library with seating capacity of 200 readers at a time. It has well stocked books with 3500 titles (9000 Volumes). The Library has subscribed to 76 international journals, 52 national journals and a large numbers of magazines.

Book Bank
In addition to Library, the institute is running its own book bank, which provides free text books to all students for the entire semester
