With the objective of putting Punjab on the radar of international educational domain, LPU embarked on its journey with the slogan andquot;Transforming Education, Transforming Indiaandquot;. LPU in its state of the art 400+ acres of wi-fi campus provides education in more than 150 programs to more than 22, 000 students through its eight schools, of which Lovely school of Business, Lovely school of Technology andamp; Sciences, Lovely School of International studies, Lovely school of Education, Applied Medical Studies, are bigger ones. Infrastructure

To instill best teaching practices the LPU has focused particularly in strengthening the infrastructure of the seat of learning. LPU is the only university campus of North India that can boast of ample wireless network across the campus. The students are provided with an internet system which is powered by 4000 meter Fiber optic cable, in addition to a separate WLAN. The campus is connected with 4000m of optical fibre line, with 20 Mbps of transfer speed. The entire campus has been networked with Wi-Fi technology, making access to internet totally wireless.

On top of LPU�sandnbsp; academic agenda is that certain off class sessions will be held in recent future, wherein the teacher will deliver lecture on net through web cam, and students can clear their doubts by interacting with the teachers, electronically.

LPU is among the very few universities in India which has all the hostel rooms with attached washrooms that really saves lots of students study time. Apart from this, all the rooms are provided with internet connection through wi-fi networking.

LPU is the only university in north India having the most modern digital library and through its library servers running 24hrs any student can get information on what books are available and get access to published material of students interest from any part of the globe. Libraries on the campus can cater to the needs of 50000 students and libraries features a collection of books on diverse topics, journals and periodicals.
