2. Complainant states that incomplete and misleading information has been provided to him. He states that for item No. 2 of his application, he has asked for copy of the merit list for the selection of physical education lecturer for the year of 2004/2005, 2005/2006, 2006/2007 & 2007/2008. He further states that Principal, Mata Sahbi Kaur, Girls College of Education, Dhamomajra, Patiala has been providing him the information in all cases and has now submitted that there college is not a public authority . This plea that college is not a Public Authority should not be accepted as the college has been receiving regular grants from NCERT, UGC etc. He also states that all the Education Institutions, controlled by SGPC are covered under the RTI Act 2005.
3. In view of the fact that Respondent has been providing information to the Complainant up till now, the plea that the institution, is not covered under the RTI Act 2005 is not acceptable. Respondent is directed to ensure that information relating to the merit list of selected candidates as demanded by the Complainant be provided before the next date of hearing.
