K. L. E. Societys College of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 1979. KLE Society's College of Engineering is a reputed institution of higher education in Karnataka. Situated in Belgaum, the college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). Courses offered by the college have gained the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Outlook magazine has included KLE Society's College of Engineering among the top engineering institutions in India.

Currently, KLE Society's College of Engineering is offering undergraduate level course in nine branches of engineering.
