The problems faced by this instution, during early stages, don t reflects its present form.B. D. Evening College is the result of the effort of a common teacher Late. Bhubneshwari Dayal, who led its foundation on his passion for teaching. This college has been established on 10th March, 1970. Late Dr. Baidnath Pandey, Dr. Nirmal Kr. Srivastava and Pran Mohan Parvatiyar had laid the foundation stone of this college.B. D. Evening College, Patna comes under the Magadh University, BodhGaya. In 1972, the college got its recognition from Magadh University to conduct B.A. and B.Comm courses. After that, in year 1978, it got full recognition from Magadh University. The government of Bihar announced to undertake this College on 7th Nov, 1985, and then B. D. Evening college became one of the college under Magadh University on Dec, 1986.
